The history behind Diva Hair.
Diva Hair opened up their first concept store to the public at 310 Broadway Winnipeg Manitoba.
Designer Jason Kozier of Diva hair line and his team opened this store to educate people better on what his products are all about, and what makes them superior and unique to competing products.
In a interview with Jason during the recent ABA hair show he stated that his main reason for being involved in this pacticular project is education. Diva hair owns there own hair extension plant in china and they go directly to India and source there India Virgen Remy Human hair themselves to insure the proper highest end quality hair and quality control of how its maintained from who and where it came from. “A lot of the time we are getting people complaining to us on proper knowledge of how to use from flatirons to curling irons to hair extensions and how to apply them and maintain them. These are situations that should not occur due to the professional nature of the industry, and what we found was that use of the extensions and equipment suffered from one factor. Proper education.” Bieng a Registered Licienced designer for Joico Beauty Salon centre in winnipeg allows Jason Kozier to teach and educate other people in getting licienced to become a certified hair extensionist in Canada.
“This is the reason for the concept store,” which is head office for education department of Diva hair, plus they serve the public direct he continued, “When you consider the price being paid for high quality, professional products, educating the people involved in installing the extensions and informing the public of how to use our styling equipment, such as our flat irons is of utmost importance. Even more serious is that the education should be made available to the public. This is why when you buy our products at the store, we will show you how to use all the products properly.”
Hair extensions are a prime example of this. With clip-ins, you do not just put them in, you need to ensure that it looks good, which means that you need to style the hair extensions to match the persons style, and to properly blend the product so that the fact the person is wearing extensions is unnoticable.
Another good example is using a flat iron. Given the high heat that the Diva flat iron can reach, improper use can burn a persons hair. The staff at the Diva Hair concept store ensure that people know what speed to run the iron through the hair as well as how to maintain the iron for longevity and to make sure that a persons hair does not get caught and thus burned.
“This is the first time that the public will have access to professional equipment like the salons use as we are not only carrying the Diva Line, but also products that are professionally available from Joico Salon Centre here in Manitoba.”
Aside from the fact that the designers are directly involved in demonstrating their products, the store itself is rather amazing in it’s design. Diva’s designers have taken to making the store a showcase of what is possible.
Diva Hair is a Canadian owned and operated company and head designer Jason Kozier was born in Winnipeg Manitoba.
