Warranty for Permanent Extensions

Diva Hair Clients Maintenance and Home Care Program:

It is emphasized that you take special care to the added hair. Hair extensions properly applied and cared for are a beautiful and exciting way to have longer, thicker hair or even add colour to the hair. If you follow the steps listed here, we guarantee your experience will be rewarding. Remember… it is in our best interest to have your extensions always looking and feeling their best… and of course, you too want you’re extensions to be fabulous.

1. NEVER GO TO BED WITH WET HAIR!!! (If you do, tangles will occur and it may be difficult at times, to untangle them they become dry over night. Dry your hair as much as possible and then put your hair into one loose braid.

2 Prevention of tangles is the single most important aspect of hair extensions. Use “only” hair products recommended by your stylists. When shampooing, DO NOT scrub your hair excessively. Massage your scalp and gently work the shampoo to the ends. Flood rinse thoroughly. Use conditioner according to the companies instruction. Brush gently from the scalp to the ends. Use a Diva Hair loop brush when hair is wet or dry. DO NOT shampoo for 2 days after your extensions have been applied. you may rinse your hair and use a spray leave-in conditioner (only recommended by your stylist.) You should NOT wash your hair with your head faced down. Always tilt your head back and foam hair from top to bottom. NEVER dry with a scrubbing action, wrap with a towel to absorb the water.

3. Clients should NEVER, COLOR, PERM, and OR USE OTHER TYPES OF CHEMICALS WITHOUT CONSULTING THEIR STYLIST FIRST.

4. After having extensions applied, the client MUST return to the salon for routine follow-up visits. (First visit should be 4 to 5 weeks for retouch, white girl weave only.) Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of any given warranty from the stylist. Also, failing to call and notify the stylist of ANY problems that you experience with your extensions will also result in forfeit of any given warranty from the stylist.

5. Some bonds may get a little tangled if you do not brush your hair on a regular basis therefore, the natural fall-out of your own hair may cause a little tangle between bonds. If this should occur, DO NOT hesitate to contact your stylist IMMEDIATELY!!! Please… DO NOT try to correct any problems on your own. Contact your stylist. Your stylist is the only person that can be allowed to correct any problems that may arise. Failure to comply and not have the problem addressed immediately WILL VOID the warranty.

6. Just like your own natural hair, you should take into advice not to allow chlorine water from swimming pools or hot tubs to stay in your hair extensions. Rinse thoroughly and use clarifying shampoo and acid balanced conditioner. Then let it set on your hair for 3 minutes, rinse hair with warm water. (NOT HOT WATER!!!)

7. Always remember… Even if you do not wash your hair, RINSE THOROUGHLY and then lightly towel dry and then use leave in conditioner. This will help neutralize any impurities that may be in the water that would be left behind in the hair. Following these guidelines will help increase the longevity of your extension.

8. It is normal to loose a few extensions per month. If this does occur within a specified time frame, DO NOT PANIC!!! Return to your stylist and have them replaced. (It is very similar to having touch ups done on a regular basis.)

9. Following these guidelines, you will be able to keep your extensions looking and feeling the best way possible.

10. VERY IMPORTANT…!!! If any other stylist other than the original extensionist performs ANY service on your hair, or hair extensions INCLUDING perm, colour, bleach, haircut, shampoo, blow-dry, repair, the WARRANTY WILL BE VOID!!! Your stylist will try very hard to insure your extensions stay perfect as long as you wear them. PLEASE do not let someone else ruin the hard work done by your extensionist/ stylist. All services performed will be done on a regular basis.

11. NEVER use any over the counter products; such as the purchase at any drug store, cosmetics store and beauty supply store, salons, etc…diva hair sells the recommended kit for your extensions which is mandatory for our warranty, and will be explained to you by your stylist.

12. Once deposits and orders for the extensions are made, there will be NO CASH REFUNDS! The hair CANNOT be returned to the manufacturer due to Canadian Health Regulations. The hair cannot and will not be used on another client.

13. A client MAY NOT try the extensions out for a short period of time and then decline that they do not want them in;once the extensions are placed in the hair. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN!!! If this does occur, hair can be removed (by the stylist only) at no additional cost provided that the extensions are to be removed in a reasonable time and must be agreeable with the stylist. Any time after the grace period of 3 days, (this is for the application that is done with micro rings) a service fee will be incurred for the removal of the extensions micro ring. (This is to be determined at the time of service.) In case of the application of COLD FUSION the client agrees to keep the extension for the period of 4 weeks before they can be removed due to the nature of the way the COLD FUSION is installed by bond. The request to remove COLD FUSION has be made within 24hrs after the installation; any request to remove COLD Fusion there after the charges will apply.

14. Please remember… the abuse or misuse of the styling tools such as combs, brushes, blow-dryers, hot irons, hot rollers, as well as over the counter hair care products (including the products recommended by the stylist) may or can result in damaging your extensions.

15. Failure to follow these guidelines in this maintenance program/contract is ground for forfeiture of the warranty. THIS MEANS NO REFUND IN PART OR WHOLE. This applies but is not limited to services rendered by the stylist and the hair extensions themselves.

16. I do not hold Diva Hair responsible in an way for my decision in applying these hair extensions. In the event I decide to keep the hair extensions, I am fully responsible for the total payment of service rendered. I also understand the explanation of the entire procedure and am aware with proper care on my part, they should remain in my hair for at least 30 days. I understand that if an allergic reaction should occur Diva Hair is not responsible.

17. The charge for removal is not included in the original fee. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS!

18. Due to the nature of the hair extensions themselves, the hair cannot be warranted. White girl warranty: if the end of the track lets go for some reason, we will fix it for free. Cold fusion warranty: if bonds slide out in the first week or 2 of wearing them we will replace and reapply them as long as client keep every piece that fell out, to bring back to Diva Hair to determine why they fell out.
